Women’s initiatives

Established in 2019, the women’s direction supports women and girls living with HIV who face stigma, discrimination, violence and social exclusion.

A women’s division — an initiative group — was established at IMKONIYAT in 2019. It runs initiatives supporting women and girls living with HIV who face stigma, discrimination, violence and social exclusion.

The Tabassum project (April–September 2025) focused on media literacy, internet safety, reducing stigma and discrimination, creating media content and strengthening the women taking part.
