A person who had stopped treatment several years earlier approached a multidisciplinary team. Conversations with a peer consultant helped them work through fear and mistrust.
The team accompanied them to a doctor’s appointment, helped restore a treatment plan and provided regular support through the first months.
Today they continue treatment and show others, through their own experience, that coming back to therapy is possible.
